About This Kit

Build your crochet skills one block at a time! Great for confident beginners or for crocheters wanting to grow their stitch collection, this afghan starts with the most basic skills and progresses to more advanced stitches with every block.

Annie’s Crochet Afghan Block-of-the-Month Club is a monthly subscription that contains everything you need to make an heirloom-quality afghan. Perfectly paced, each shipment includes the yarn and instructions you need to crochet 3 new blocks of your afghan. Plus, you get exclusive access to online video tutorials.

With each monthly kit you can grow your crochet skills as you learn new stitches and helpful tips. Each block features a unique stitch pattern—30 in total. The final kit walks you through finishing your afghan with the blocking, seaming and border.
Your membership includes exclusive lifetime access to online video tutorials to walk you through each step of your afghan. Video instructions are available for both right- and left-handed crocheters!
Each kit includes the yarn and patterns for 3 blocks of your afghan. You will only need common household supplies such as scissors, a ruler and a spray bottle for blocking.

Here's what you will receive with your first kit:
  • 2 anodized crochet hooks (size H/8/5mm and size I/9/5.5mm)
  • 10 locking stitch markers
  • A metal tapestry needle
  • Acrylic worsted-weight yarn
  • A full-color pattern leaflet
  • Access to online video tutorials
  • Access to digital patterns and a free Stitch Guide

Love this yarn? Your membership will send you all the yarn you need to stitch your project, but if you'd like to purchase more yarn you can check out our wide range of yarn skein sizes and colors here.

Confident Beginner

One of our easiest afghan kit subscriptions, this pattern begins with the most basic crochet stitches. We recommend you have at least a basic understanding of how to crochet before starting this afghan. The video tutorials can also help you learn new techniques.
